Ministry Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Lead Pastor to join our church family in Burbank, IL. As the Lead Pastor, you will play a vital role in nurturing and guiding the spiritual growth of our congregation, leading a team of 2 pastors to foster a strong, prayer focused church family. The ideal candidate will possess a heart for leading others to salvation, expository preaching, and a commitment to working collaboratively with our church family and staff.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all church operations in partnership with our Church Board
• Lead and develop our church staff by collaborating with the current Worship and Next Gen Pastors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our church families, providing guidance, support, and counseling when needed
• Foster a Biblical focused approach by teaching and preaching directly from the word of God
• Participate in church-wide events and initiatives, promoting teamwork and unity within the congregation
• Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to personal spiritual growth and ongoing learning

Qualifications:
• A deep and authentic personal faith in Jesus Christ
• Expository preaching focused on deepening the Biblical knowledge of our church family
• Experience in a Lead Pastoral role, preferably in a church with more than 1 pastor on staff
• An understanding of the needs of a diverse, urban community
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire people
• A team player who values collaboration and develops others around them
