Our Story

The Illinois School of Ministry (ISOM) exists help those called to ministry complete their coursework toward credentials with the Assemblies of God. Since 2008, over 1,000 students have enrolled in coursework through ISOM.

Train alongside your peers in a ministry-oriented environment. Experience the joy of learning from those involved in ministry on a daily basis. Invest yourself in a systematic study that will prepare you for leadership and give you a solid ministry foundation.

Our Tracks

  • Track 1 (Certified Minister) focuses on the foundations of our doctrine and helps you develop a firm understanding of the Assemblies of God history, mission, and message.
  • Track 2 (Licensed Minister) goes deeper in biblical foundations of our mission and message as well as provide foundational keys for leadership roles in the church.
  • Track 3 (Ordained Minister) prepares the student for the role and responsibilities of an Assemblies of God pastor.
Spanish Track: Ministry classes are also offered every month in Spanish. Check the Chicago campus schedule to see what we have to offer.
