WHO IS JAIME O. NAVARRO?

The inspiring story of Rev. Jaime O. Navarro.

His testimony reflects a profound journey of redemption, faith, and service. From a life-altering tragedy at a young age to becoming a pastor and leader in ministry, his story demonstrates the transformative power of faith and the dedication to serving others.

It’s remarkable to see how Jaime’s personal experiences have shaped his mission to reach the broken, the lost, and the forgotten, as well as his commitment to discipleship and leadership development.

His impact in the Gage Park community was felt for over 10 years and his more recent role as the Hispanic Cohort Director focuses on Leadership and Spiritual Development for the Illinois AG District Council highlights his passion for empowering others and fostering spiritual growth.

Jaime’s life also serves as a testament to the importance of family, both biological and spiritual, in guiding and supporting individuals through their faith journey.

His partnership with his wife, Camillie, and their shared ministry reflects a deep commitment to creating a welcoming and transformative environment for others.

He is the proud father of 5 beautiful children. After a lifetime of residing in the Chicagoland area, Jaime and his family now call Plainfield, Illinois home.

WHO IS BRENDA BRAVATTY?

Founder and Director of the Victorious Woman Ministry

Brenda is passionate about Jesus and preaching His word. She is a dynamic pastor, writer, preacher, and mentor.

In 2004, God inspired her to found the Victorious Woman Ministry, a ministry that challenges and leads women to experience salvation, healing, restoration, and transformation through the tools of God’s Word and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. In 2021, Brenda wrote her first book, Mothers Who Impact, a 21-day devotional for mothers. This book, drawing from her own experience raising her children, has touched the hearts of many mothers.

During 2022, Brenda went through a test and a process of faith. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December 2021, underwent major surgeries, and endured chemotherapy. By the end of September 2022, she experienced a miracle of divine healing and was declared “cancer-free.” She is now completely healed and lives a normal life.

Brenda has a powerful testimony of faith and perseverance through trials and a miraculous healing that challenged medical science at two of the best hospitals in the United States. “For nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).

Brenda and her husband, Enio, have been senior pastors of Casa de Misericordia Church in Chicago since 1998. They are ordained pastors with the Assemblies of God. They have been married for 35 years and have two children, Dannie and Amy, as well as a second daughter, their beloved daughter-in-law Cecy. They are grandparents to their beautiful grandson, Diego Paolo. Together as a family, they serve the Lord.

WHO IS DR. MEL OQUENDO?

Pastor Mel Oquendo became the Lead Pastor of River City Church in October 3, 2021. He is an anointed preacher, leader, and visionary who has begun to shift and lead the way into a new season of revival for RCC in his short time as lead pastor.

First called into ministry in his youth, Pastor Mel continues to be passionate about sharing God’s love for others. He and his wife Jeanette have a heart for outreach, longing for every person to discover their calling in life. With over 25 years of experience as a Pastor, Mel is enthusiastic about preaching, mentoring, and developing others through each season of life.

He holds a B.S. degree in Ministerial Leadership with a minor in Pastoral Leadership from Southeastern University, Lakeland, Florida. An M.Div (Master of Divinity) degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate (D.Min) in Preaching and Leading from Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, KY (Spring 2024).

WHO IS DR. EDWIN MELENDEZ?

Edwin Melendez has been the Senior Pastor of Culture City Church since 2002. After planting churches in Milwaukee, WI, and Cleveland, OH, he and his wife, Jackie, returned to Chicago to establish the ministry at Culture City.

Passionate about sharing the Gospel, discipling believers, and equipping future leaders, Edwin is committed to transforming lives and fostering a Christ-centered culture in the church.

Edwin and Jackie have three married sons and five grandchildren. He holds a Bachelor’s in Biblical Leadership, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership. Additionally, he serves as an itinerant speaker, focusing on training and mentoring young pastors.
