Emotional Health Seminar set for April 22
4/8/10

Gary Grogan, pastor of Stone Creek Church in Urbana, invites all Illinois ministers to their upcoming seminar on April 22, "Discovering an Emotionally Healthy Ministry – how pastors and leaders can make the greatest impact.” Seminar presenter is Don Follis of Pastor to Pastor Initiatives in Urbana.

This 5-hour seminar is especially tailored for pastors, their leadership teams, and spouses. The heart of the seminar centers on the fact that to be spiritually healthy you must be emotionally healthy. Don will explore our emotions, look at Jesus' emotional health, and discuss 10 positive emotions we all need.

Cost to attend the seminar is $49, which includes a workbook and lunch. The seminar starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m.

Don's 31 years of ministry experience includes a 17-year campus ministry at the University of Illinois, a 4-year stint with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and a 7-year pastoral ministry with the Vineyard Church in Urbana. Currently, he oversees pastoral care in the Midwest region for Vineyard churches, and also coaches pastors and church leaders throughout the country through his ministry called Pastor-to-Pastor Initiatives. He has shared his insights with leaders in Canada, China, Mexico, Zambia, and throughout the United States.
