Equipping those He calls
The Illinois School of Ministry has opened its doors to assist those who are seeking to either grow in their personal Bible studies or complete their coursework in the process of being credentialed with the Illinois District. As of January 2008, we are offering two tracks of courses.
Track I (certified minister courses) will focus on the foundations of our doctrine and help you develop a firm understanding of the Assemblies of God history, mission, and message.
Track II (license to preach courses) will go deeper in biblical foundations of our mission and message as well as provide foundational keys for leadership roles in the church.
If you enjoy group study and interaction with fellow students, the Illinois School of Ministry may be the answer for you. Train alongside your peers in a ministry oriented environment. Experience the joy of learning from those involved in ministry on a daily basis. Invest yourself in a systematic study that will prepare you for leadership and give you a solid foundation to minister from.
From the Illinois School of Ministry President….
“The Illinois School of Ministry is especially designed to meet the needs of busy church leaders s eeking greater ministry knowledge, or contemplating a call to ministry as well as those already in ministry, seeking to complete credential requirements…Wherever you may be in this journey, we are committed to a process that will enable leaders to think biblically, strategically, and creatively about today’s ministry issues. We look forward to partnering with you in this process.
