A disciple is someone who is both a learner and a follower. Every true believer is a disciple. Similarly, the Great Commission applies to every believer; he is to “…go and make disciples of all nations,… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28: 19,20). If the church is to fulfill its destiny, discipleship and assimilation must be intentional.
This department was created to serve Illinois pastors and churches by helping them develop effective strategies for discipleship and assimilation. I am available to provide training, resources, and assessment tools, (in particular through Natural Church Development), to help you not only serve your community, but to build true community within.
